getting check called on that flop would make me slow down... plus if he had 89 he got there. His play here is exactly how loose passive would play a T... I guess he'd probably play AJ the same way, though. Passives suck.

On the river you have to assume you're beat, although it's so cheap to set him in maybe it's worth it.

I too was afraid of a slowplayed T when he checkcalled the flop, but when he checked the turn I put him on a draw. Reason that I bet the river: he checked the river (very few ppl check the river when having a monster), so I thought he had missed his draw. And when I saw he only had 1.8 left, I tthought that he probably felt pretty pot commited and would call a bet with anything on the river. Am I way out of line with my thinking here?

no you are right unless you completely missed by the river, if he had anything he has to call if he is smart

I double up short stacks like no tomorrow every time I feel halfway confident in my hand. They always pay me back.
It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.

Same here, I Fin hate people who buy in for $5, if they raise to a dollar I will put them AI with two s00ted cards. This isn't a leak, do you see why?
