The majority of my reraising range would have liked this flop, but i thought checking behind would make it look like an obvious slowplay. And considering how i pretty much always cbet in position in a hu pot, i thought that would have also identified my hand.

That being said, should i have let him possibly take a stab with JJ or QQ or hopefully let him try to catch up and maybe fill his boat.

its tough, you've got the whole deck in a strangle hold and you're only gonna get one bet out of someone probably unless someone has AK or AA or turns a big hand.

But you gotta check and hope they catch up becuase what hands can call given your preflop and flop action?

Smithers, use the amnesia ray.
You mean the revolver, sir?
Precisely.

You can either slowplay, or make it look like you don't want action..........

Yeah. I think I've started to realize that when I do this, I shouldn't act like I'm continuation betting if I've been c-betting successfully.

I see you having two choices:
1) Bet the pot (or perhaps slightl ymore, like 1.25x the pot)and hope he doesn't believe you
2) Slowplay and try to get him to catch up.

Personally, I prefer option A, but sometimes I get a little reckless with my aggressiveness, so take that for what it's worth.

option A only works on certain players.

You really shouldnt expect much value out of this hand anyway, no hands can really pay you off.
