Villian is 38/14 over 150 hands. Just recently saw him turn bluff a big raise in multi-way pot after checked around flop. He showed down that he called a big reraise with K5s. So wide range as stats indicate. He has showed down some good hands though.

Ultimate Bet No-Limit Hold'em, $.25 BB (10 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

MP1 ($3.95)
MP2 ($15.15)
MP3 ($45.85)
CO ($20.10)
Button ($5.65)
SB ($8)
BB ($15)
Hero ($47.20)
UTG+1 ($32.75)
UTG+2 ($37.75)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with K, K.
Hero raises to $1, UTG+1 calls $1, 8 folds.

Flop: ($2.35) 9, T, 9 (2 players)
Hero bets $1.5, UTG+1 raises to $6.85, Hero folds.

Final Pot: $10.70

This was going to be my last hand before the blinds hit me, I was tired, I just had a very good session and wanted to keep it that way. I didn't feel confident enough in his range and bet to play it.

I'm guessing this was most likely a 10 hoping I had missed overs, but couldn't discount him calling a PFR with any nine or any two clubs. His last bluff came after someone showing weakness, not strength. Big reraise, I couldn't find a call in me at the end of the night.

What should I have done? Decent lay down?

Note: I've also been on trying to believe more big raises lately. Found I've called too many in past.

$14, open-shove any turn card.

9x smooth calls the flop too often, the board is draw-heavy and this guy is too aggro to make this laydown.

how often do you just push here knowing opp probably has the worst of it 75% the time?

The problem with shoving is that it doesn't give worse hands and draws the chance to play back at us. Particularly against impulsive/aggro online opponents.

I was just wondering how often we can buy this against an aggro who thinks we have shit but doesnt have too much himself.

I don't want to inspire draws to make a correct laydown.

I don't see any reraise in this hand.

I like fnord's line to be honest.

So push even if the straight or flush completes the turn? If the reasoning is he's aggressive and is playing the draws.

Is the minraise to:
a) leave him with just over half his stack so he has room to make another move on the turn?
b) let him just call and tell us what? that he doesn't have the set because he's not willing to push over?
c) leave him with half his stack to give us fold equity on the turn and/or room to make him chase with bad odds?
d) not scare the draw away here, yet gets enough money in pot that he'll feel compelled to call our push on the turn even if he didn't hit yet?

I'm dumb, explain what you can.

I'm not putting him on a hand here reliably enough to plan to laydown this hand. With a pair on the board you have outs to suck out against flushes and straights, reducing their value.

This is more than a min-raise, but not by much. Just enough of a shove to draw him in and make him think he can play back at us. Also, I'm getting half of the effective stack size into the pot. As a rule, after half of the effective stack is in the pot I tend to stick the rest in unless I'm pretty sure you hit your draw. If he's drawing to either both the redraws and all-in on the turn really hurt the value of his hand. Also, it sends a clear message not to raise you light because you will playback without a nut-like hand.

Why such a small reraise?
