 here is a kk hand. the person i'm up against is laggy (plays 35% of hands), but decent. I have recently gotten rocked by getting overexcited about my high pocket pairs, so i'm really trying to work on it, but at the same time i am more scared than i should be with them i think.

She could be on a lower overpair and just assumes you've got two high cards, but that's a ballsy play.

I'd fold it... slowly and painfully.

I'd fold it without a read. Smooth call on the flop and check-allin on the turn looks like a very big hand.

Judging from the "atta girl" comment, I'd say you have an aggressive image, and someone just dropped the hammer to send a message. PORK HER.
It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?

I think you're ahead here a fair amount of the time. Can we rule AA out because she showed no aggression pre flop? Or is she the type who would want to trap you because you have been aggresive prior to this hand? Why push the turn with you still showing strong aggression and 1 street to come if she has such a strong hand made already? It looks to me like TT or JJ thats trying to put you to the test. What hands with a 6 see the flop for 4x BB if she is playing 35% of hands? 67 suited or 56 suited out of position? 44 or 33 probably just put in a more callable raise on the turn then pound the river.

I think if you fold here it's the best hand more often than not, but its close. You already have 25% of your stack invested, i think that makes up for the closeness.

It looks like a medium over pair to me.

I agree with Rondavu - if you were being really aggro, she could put you on two high cards and could be smashing your balls with her 88-JJ... the smooth call/check-AI is repping huge strength, which might mean that she puts you on two high cards or she genuinely hit a monster hand and is being tricky.

I second the LOL. Pork her, in-deed!!
