Just started playing a bit more ring recently and had this hand. Villain was 28/11 over 46 hands. Anyway I could of played it differently? I was quite baffled by the way he played his hand.

a check behind on the river is the obvious way to go......
EDIT: Crap, looking at it again, I feel that may be results oriented....damn white text, leave it off next time.
But it does smell pretty fishy with him calling on the flop and coming to life on the turn, it is a small bet yes, but it sure looks like "please raise me here". But im not sure if you can fold.....
That was a jumble, please listen to whoever else responds.

I check behind that river every single time. What do you beat here that would call a bet? A high? He called your flop bet, meaning most probably a Q or flush draw. Flush draw hit. Queen paired. You are beat most of the time here, so check behind.

Villain took a terrible line. But what are you trying to accomplish with your river bet? No better hand (Q, flush or FH) is going to fold, and there are only a few worse hands that might conceivably call (JJ-99).
