Party Poker
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $0.10/$0.25
9 players
Converter
VIllain has been loose donkish;making variuous FPS moves whether conscinscouely or not.
Stack sizes:
UTG: $25
UTG+1: $25.99
MP1: $33.01
MasterOfSoresu: $34.60
MP3: $20.03
CO: $7.97
Button: $23.75
SB: $21.40
BB: $28.65
Pre-flop: (9 players) Hero is MP2 with :kc :kh
UTG folds, UTG+1 calls $0.25 (pot was $0.35), MP1 calls $0.25 (pot was $0.6), Hero raises to $1.25, 5 folds, UTG+1 calls $1 (pot was $2.1), MP1 calls $1 (pot was $3.1).
Standard raise with KK.
Flop: :3s :6c :td ($4.1, 3 players)
UTG+1 bets $3.36, MP1 folds, Hero calls $3.36 (pot was $7.46).
I decide to smooth call and see what he does on the turn. Not sure if villain is price betting a flush/OESD draw but I figure I'm either ahead of a draw/lower pair or drawing dead vs. a set/two pair.
Turn: :9h ($10.82, 2 players)
UTG+1 bets $4.62, Hero raises all-in $29.99, UTG+1 calls all-in $16.76.
Uncalled bets: $8.61 returned to Hero.
I decide at this point that:
1)I fold and supposedly save myself vs a stack OR find out I got bluffed.
2) Call and end up pot committed on the river anyways
OR
3)Push and pray to God he doesn't have it.
He calls.I fear a set.
River: :ks ($53.58, 0 player + 2 all-in - Main pot: $53.58)
Results:
Final pot: $53.58
Thoughts and feedback are welcome.Who pays off here?

Calling the flop "to see what he does on the turn" and stacking off on the turn after continued aggression doesn't make a lot of sense. That flop against this opponent is a rare time getting a lot of money in with one pair is a good idea.
Against loose donkish players I'm felting KK on this board, and I'm trying to get him pot committed on the flop.
After the flop smooth call i would probably just call down, calling a push on non ace/ten river.

My bankroll is the amount of money I would spend or lose before I got a job. It is calculated by adding my net worth to whatever I can borrow.

Villain showed QTo for the board Top Pair.
Somehow he helped vault by losses for the month.

Would you really be pot committed on the river? I'm genuinely asking here cuz I'm not too aware of pot committment sometimes.

Your pre-flop raise should be larger... 1.50 at the BARE minimum; I'd usually pump it up to $2 there

The only reason I pop it .75 is to encourage some callers;plus I don't play the premiums that well post flop in NL when the pot gets way too big(unless I make my set).Erick Lindgreen says he prefers to keep the pots small preflop because he wants more emphasis on post flop decisions.

if your standard raise is 3xbb +1 for each limper that is fine
I think that on the flop you have a important decision to reraise to see where you stand or decide you have him beat and play like you did

I figured that too;if he has the set than it is a tough laydown either way.Luckily things panned out this time.
