Hey xel - Welcome to the forums!

As Tyler asked, we'll definitely need more information before we can give you any feedback.

We need to know:

1) What were your 2 hole cards?
2) What were your friend's 2 hole cards (with suits)?
3) What were the community cards on the board (with suits)?

With that information one of us can most certainly give you an answer.

Again, welcome aboard!

Oops! you beat me to it.

Looks to me like you had a full house (AA333) and your friend had absolutely nothing (A-hi). Not sure what the argument was about.

No problem! Well, if he thinks he won the pot with that hand then I'm sure you will take his next paycheck as well!
