that this is a good fold. Check-raiser was a calling station 28/1/.7 over about 60 hands. With such a draw heavy board, I thought he flopped a str8. Couldn't see anything else (except a set) with the check-raise push This fold okay or weak with top set?

Renton will become famous soon enough
Raise more preflop.

You have top set and a BD diamond draw and will likely get three way all in, making your boat outs give you +EV.

gamble here

OK looking at results now...

zing! I am the man.

Raise to atleast 4xBB, especially with limpers already in the pot. Dont fold this.

Annndd POSTED IT!

I'm sure there are some situations where folding Top set is the correct play, but i've yet to come across any and even if i do i think i would probably go broke first before i fold.
Success is how high you bounce after hitting bottom.

this isn't a bad fold because he folded top set.

Its a bad fold because he folded when he'd have the best of it even if someone had JT.

If it were heads up I could possibly find a fold here against some players.

I will make sure I never fold this again

I seriously folded because the guy that check-raised all in was so passive that it HAD to be a monster. running through pokerstove I was about 43% on that after the flop 4-way. I should have gambled but I thought in that multiway pot I would have been behind when the money went in. At least to the straight.

Lesson learned.
