Opp is a total donkey, stats 83/0/1.8 over 53 hands. What is your turn line? Call and hope he bets the river or raise? If you are raising, how much is appropriate?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (9 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

Button ($43.35)
Hero ($23.75)
BB ($26.25)
UTG ($4.40)
UTG+1 ($24.40)
MP1 ($14.25)
MP2 ($22.90)
MP3 ($31.55)
CO ($7.20)

Preflop: Hero is SB with J, J.
4 folds, MP3 calls $0.25, 2 folds, Hero raises to $1, BB calls $0.75, MP3 calls $0.75.

Flop: ($3) 9, 8, T (3 players)
Hero bets $2, BB folds, MP3 calls $2.

Turn: ($7) Q (2 players)
Hero checks, MP3 bets $5.25, Hero ????

I might raise more pre, but that's nitpicking. Against a station I would have just value bet the turn - dont want to let fishy check behind. As played, we could minraise or push right here, but if we just call, then we can open push river for < pot, and I'd expect to get called by two pair alot.

Lots of ways to play this one though... I'm not sure which is best - interesting hand.

add another blind PF esp. coz opp seems like a station

Flop: ($3) 9, 8, T (3 players)
Hero bets $2, BB folds, MP3 calls $2.

bet a little more again

Turn: ($7) Q (2 players)

I dont see why you wanna check into a station/donk. just bet again and shove river.
Also when you check the turn, do you have a plan?? and wont c/r turn be such a strong play that you may aswell turn your hand over?
Jman: every time the action is to you, it's an opportunity for you to make the perfect play.

I like firing three barrels here as discussed. After you check the turn though i think you have two choices:

Minraise: He'll call cause stations can't fold after they bet. But you may not make anymore on the river.

Call and Push river: It looks like a bluff and he is a station.

After checking i go with minraise because he may see the size of the pot and call the river anyway (don't you just love $25NL). Three barrels were the way to get this stack though i think.
This is not my signature. I just write this at the bottom of every post.

check/call and fake blocking bet on the river doesn't announce your hand as much either. By blocking I mean around $12.

are you choosing this line or showing a different alternative play to cover up our hand here?

i'm doing both, I probably use this line ~25% of the time. Sometimes I get caught up in the moment and think "oh shit wtf did I check for? c/ring gives my hand away...so let's not c/r and just c/c and lead river instead.". Most of the time it's by accident but against aggressive players it's a line I take some of the time.
