I just don't know what he called with on the flop that he is PSB on the river with. Isn't he block/value betting sets/two pair, and checking one pair hands? Has to be a bluff right? right???

Again, fold preflop unless you have a specific read that he raises uber light in position with a limper(s). I don't think I'd call the river but I think your read is right that he either has the 9 or missed overcards and/or a flush draw. But a part of his range could include hands like A9ss-Q9ss/2 pairs w/SCs that raised. With no read it's hard to assess a hand range to this guy and making thin calls with no reads is the suck.

stats?
If hes loose call, if he isnt fold.
Call river, if he has an overpair then meh, but otherwise you have him IMO.

I usually fold pre-flop, sometimes re-raise loose raisers. I like the flop raise, occasionally bet the turn, but usually check behind, river is a tough call. Very read-dependent, but without one I fold.

My history with this villain is less than 50 hands, so i didn't think they would be very useful. He was 24/11/2.6
Anyways villain had missed overs, and i did a little dance after the hand
Would anyone make this same call with A-10? 6-6?
Since villain's range is likely a straight or a bluff, as long as we have a pair isn't it still a call?

id call with 66, AT is very debateable as he always has at least a pair when he isnt bluffing meaning we have to be able to beat at least a pair IMO.
If he pushes this is a hell of a lot more difficult.

usually fold preflop.
either call the flop or raise more.
if you do play it like this and he bets 40 it either is something you have beat and hes semibluffing/bluffing, AJ same as you, or an occasional slowplay.
