Bodog 100NL. Hero is in BB with Limped around and Hero checks. Pot = $4

Flop----------SB checks, Hero bets $3, MP calls, SB raises to $15.25. Hero calls, MP folds. Pot=$37.50

Turn---------SB bets $46.50, Hero folds.

Insufferably nitty? Effective stacks were 140BB. Dunno, I guess I just didn't feel like stacking off with low two pair at the end of a profitable session. Do you push the turn bet here or what? No good reads on villain, incidentally.

It might sound weak-tight, but I think we should decide to either dump it or play for stacks on the flop. That $15 raises is a biggie.

I had a similar hand the other day (this is at a UB no max buyin table) that went like this against thinking Loose-aggressive/passive guy. He would raise almost anything before the flop, and then look to hit a huge hand and clean up.

About 15 minutes before this, he raised with 980 in early position. I raised with pocket 10's and he called (as did one blind). Flop came 7TJ with two spades. He checks, I bet, short guy calls all in, villain check raises hard. I push and lose to his straight.

Ultimate Bet No-Limit Hold'em, $.50 BB (9 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

SB ($104.25)
BB ($27.95)
UTG ($538.75)
UTG+1 ($55.90)
MP1 ($9.25)
MP2 ($199.25)
MP3 ($46.20)
Hero ($364.75)
Button ($13.20)

Preflop: Hero is CO with Q, Q. SB posts a blind of $0.50.
BB calls $0.50, UTG raises to $2, UTG+1 calls $2, 3 folds, Hero raises to $9, 2 folds, BB calls $8.50, UTG calls $7, UTG+1 calls $7.

Flop: ($36.50) 4, 7, 3 (4 players)
BB checks, UTG checks, UTG+1 checks, Hero bets $28, BB folds, UTG raises to $120.5, UTG+1 folds, Hero folds.

Final Pot: $185

Results in white below:
No showdown. UTG wins $185.

I felt it just wasn't worth playing the pot against him here against his big check-raise, even though I may well have been ahead of his lower pair/combo draw and had position on him. I knew if I called here, I'd be put all in on the turn, just like what happened to you in this hand.
Some days it feels like I've been standing forever, waiting for the bank teller to return so I can cash in all these Sklansky Bucks.

I can't see dumping w/ two pair on the flop and position. For one thing, if we spike a ten or six on the turn we're almost certainly destacking villain. It seemed worth calling for that reason, plus to see what he'd do on the turn.
