It's hard to tell if your line is thin when we don't know your cards

I like flop+turn and don't mind the river as long as you snap-folded.

Da GOAT
leading flop is bad

weird how i think you've turned AJ into a bluffy hand vs a 12/10. bet sizing seems rly bad

imo i rly dislike everything.

once he calls turn your toast.

There's no wai in a million years that I call this.

Da GOAT is right about the turn call... could have had TT at that moment but that's as weak as it gets. I put villain on AA, JJ, or TT.

now i gotta think some more

If hero bets river he's hoping that better hands fold or worse hands call, right. A nit-tag reg villain isn't calling this river bet with less than tptk. He's also unlikely to fold AJ. This is why i think betting is bad.

So checking makes sense.

Means that options are check-call or check-fold.
Hero's line is strong thus far, but looks like he's given up.

I note the argument that villain is unlikely to bet a worse hand when checked to, but I think this is over-stated. Villains bet rivers when checked to more often than they should - even when they have showdown value and should be checking behind. Also, if hero is happy putting in $120 as a bet with no value to be had out of it, then why not just as happily put in $120 with a hand that has showdown value. Gonna be ahead 1/3+ I expect?

check-folding feels too weak here.

as played i think he has to fold.

So we can set up a pot-sized shove on the river for villain?
