Bodog 100 max nl, the guy in the hand with me has been playing like a complete moron, and ive destacked him twice calling hes allin with second pair on a low flop. He had aks.

Well then this hand comes up, Ive noticed he LOVES to bet BIG into weakness, so I set up this little trap... lol, unfortunately the luckbox hit the flop kinda hard lol... enjoy!

thats a tricky one, you tryed to trap him with the weak bet so you have no idea if he somehow has that 4 or is attempting a bluff. Personally trapping with aa vs 3 ops at the flop seems a bit iffy to me Id prefer to lead out strong, then if he re-raises all-in I have some judgment to make (you know theres less chance hes bluffing).

ps can you add some paragraph spaces to these type HHs theyre very hard to read as one long block of text.

The weak flopbet was because I was pretty sure everybody but him would fold, and I was trying to trap him, I decided by then to pay him off if he actually called preflop with a four in hes hand.

Any other comments ?

ok, i decided i'm going to try to read that. give me a few years.

edit: ok, IMO you're probably losing your stack here no matter how you play it. but, i still think the better play is to bet the flop bigger. you don't necessarily want to get AI against a lag who very well could have a 4, with just 0 information, and if one of the other two people called then you'd have a pretty bad situation, not knowing anything about what they had, yet then needing to make a pretty large turn bet.

in this case, if you had potted the flop, and the really loose guy pushed, i think you're still calling, but at least it leaves you more opportunity than him only having to call the 5. him pushing into strength would be out of character for him?

thing is if I bet pot on the flop, he would just call, he does that with any hand, if he wants to bluff it later, so it wouldnt give me any more info really. I think ive just decided ive played it like I would play it if I had the chance again, it was a move I tryed, and just caught a bad flop. Shit happens.

tricky one. 3 people saw a paired flop and then guy goes AI with a straight on the board. I've thrown these away before, but it really depends on the reads. Sometimes you just luck out.

Though I would advise against planning a specific trap without reference to the way the hand plays out, sometimes the cards dont fall the right way and you have to give it up.

so basically you're saying he will call a bigger bet, yet you don't want to make one why?
