This is exactly what I mean by reverse implied odds. You hit your flop second best. Nice suck-out, FISH!

The other guy deserved to be sucked out on by limping A3o from the front of the table.

But yeah, completing the small blind with that crap is asking for trouble for sure.

supposing that on any random hand, the fishy player wins 5% of the time, then it is most profitable to play the fishiest that 5% right? ....right?

OK, maybe not. I'll admit I was pretty (read: VERY) retarded this hand. but after the flop I didn't put anyone on the other 3. The initial raise I put on a Jack, a cold call on the flush draw, reraise on another jack with a strong kicker. I reraised to scare off the flush draw, which turned out to be the one guy who had me beat. Then the planets aligned, I sucked him out, and the three of them leave the table wondering what the hell I was doing in that pot with 23o, as I count their chips... wondering what the hell I was doing in that pot with 23o.

Which 5%? This 5%? That 5%?

You have a 95% chance that you are playing fishy at the wrong time.
I don't know what they have to say
It makes no difference anyway.
Whatever it is...
I'm against it.

I'm baffled that A3 didn't raise the flop bet.

That's like wearing a T shirt that says "suck out on me" -- which our friend did.

The fishiest play seems to me like the all-in flush draw... that wouldn't have happened if matc had bet the trips big. Maybe.

Disclaimer: I'm actually not real good at this stuff.

The question I have, is ok, you completed with 2-3o, what else do you complete with?

For example, I can't imagine you folding somthing like A-4o in the SB, but usually it's probably a fold.

I have a hard time believeing this is the first time you completed with dregs, and the more it happens, the more you will lose. Now, of course, I have no idea what you complete with, but reading this thread, and thinking about your EARN, my initial response was:

I wonder what else he completes?
I wonder what his overall money total from the SB is?

These questions are not important to me, but they should be to you......
