I should have reraised the river, huh? I was a little scared of the flush? I am pretty sure I should have reraised it though, but I was a wuss.

Hey dude, how come you didn't 3bet the turn when you held the nuts, did you want to keep everyone in until the river and then go crazy ?

Edit:With there holdings, the Turn would have been capped for sure and maybe the river too deff 3 bet. This adds to an extra $36 you could have won I can understand why you wouldn't want to raise the River though its hard to press the raise button with a 3 flush on the board. It's like Fnord said though with 2 other players being in each bet need you to win 33% to break even, if you feel you will win this situation more than that every bet you put in will give you more in return in the long run. On the downside it adds to your variance but it also makes you more money so it depends on how compfy you are with your bankroll.
Poker is all about the long long long long long long long term . . .
Barney's back . . . back again . . .

Ditto, 3-bet the turn. 1 safe overcall isn't worth missing a couple bets with the nuts.

With a raise + call in front, cap the river as you only need to be good here 40%+ of the time to turn a profit. If someone hit a backdoor flush, good for them.

With your guys help my bankroll is just fine, I am up over $1900 for the month. I am convienced that last month was just the variance that went heywire to the downside, but also that I tightened up in certain areas, such as completing the small blind and calling raises from the BB. I am not playing those damn suited aces nearly as much. Thanks guys!

But yes the turn I didn't want to get one out of the pot. The river I didn't because I am a big wuss. Both were probably bad plays on my part.

I was thinking one had AQ the other had trips, which if I was thinking that I should have bet like a mad man.
