So here's my theory on when a rippy will win. Heads up, when you are by far the big stack.

Also, maybe a rippy only works when the two cards are of different color.

My guidelines for playing a rippy preflop

1) be the big stack
2) raise, don't call with it, you want a fold most of the time
3) have a tight table image so your raise has some weight
4) of course, if they are suited, fold, thats just playing like a fish
