Why do you check everytime a draw may have completed?

Hand 1 id fold. Looks like what ever he has is better than TPTK and he doesnt exactly look like hes trying to chase you away.

Hand 2 Does he semibluff? I think this is almost always a fold.

Hand 3 Id reraise to $80. Im not too good at getting away from AA, but he didnt check raise.

Hand 4 Call. Hes just as likely to have QQ as AA. Depending on his donkish level he could also turn over JJ, or even AT, or he could have missed with AK and be trying to buy it off you after you check.

Hand 5 Why are you checking?? As played you have to call down, or even reraise. I think hes protecting his hand against draws. He probably has TP or maybe even AJ. If hes hit anything hes going to be betting on that board.

Hand 6 Call. I think you are looking at a single pair more often than a straight.

Hand 7 Hero bets $55-60. Hope QQ, JJ, TT hangs around.

Hand 8 Cant decide between check or push. From the stats you posted it is likely he is passive so probably check behind. Looks like Axs hit. Hope to see a cheap showdown if the river is a blank. Im pretty sure you are behind if it comes another diamond or an A though.

1. Lead the flop for pot.
2. I don't like re-raising, but I occasionally do it. If he pulls a CR all in if you just call, you have an easier time getting away.
3. Take a flop and play poker.
4. Lead the flop?
5. You like checking with TPTK. Lead here.
6. You seem to like to check when draws complete too. I call the river, however.
7. I check behind to control the pot size and call a reasonable sized bet.
8. I don't like re-raising here. Call his raise, and peel one off on the turn. Control the pot size again by checking behind on the turn if he does so.

Feel free to comment on any of my lines.

Thats a good question. I always seem to figure if there is two of a suit on a board and they check/call they are chasing. I also seem to check if I hit TPTK hoping for a cbet so I can check raise. I think after losing AA to KK and QQ to 88 yesterday I was thinking I had to make up ground so I was check raising a lot instead of just doing the standard lead.

1. If he was trying to chase me away what would he do? I CR him on the flop and then check the scare card on the turn. He bets enough to put me allin. Does he want a call?

2. I agree he has a hand, but what do you put him on? BTW if it matters, he thought for a long time before calling the reraise preflop.

3. ?

5. I have no idea. I didn't look at this very close before I posted, and now I dont remember why I checked. I think I was scared of AA because of the reraise and wanted to check call down to keep the pot small. Not well played.

6. Would you lead on the river? I didnt because I wanted to keep it small. I had intended to call a bet.

8. My thinking here was I bet the flop, which says I dont have the flush and he minraises saying I know you dont have the flush. So I figured he was trying to make a move on me. I'm not sure my reraise is big enough. If I check the turn and a diamond doesnt fall on the river and he bets what do you do?

1. Ya. I was trying to milk more money out of it, and I was confident either he or CO would raise.

2. I generally dont reraise either but I figured I was on the button and could use the position to my advantage against a tight weak player. And if he raises me I know what he has.

3. Whats the advantage of seeing a flop vs not seeing one? If the flop doesnt have an A do you fold to his bet?

4. Any decent size bet commits me and might get hands that I beat to fold. Basicly I dont think I can fold no matter what and by checking and showing weakness I might get hands that I beat to push. But I dont know if thats the best line.

6. As I think about it I almost always put opps on draws if there is one on the board. But here I was intending to call a small bet. Keeping it small incase he has a T.

7. What do you put him on? Don't I want to build the pot here?

8. I just figured he was making a move because I obv dont have the flush, so I moved back.
