Well I read him for a semi-bluff , but I should have just called his raise and then attacked him on the turn (and got out if the flush showed up), since my hand was only the 57-43 favorite (and I like the odds a little more in my favor when I go all in). Still I put all my chips in when I was the favorite so I cant complain.. did I play this right? How would you guys play it?

If you had the As this play looks fine imo, but i think you got pretty lucky.

I think you should be more worried about your opponent. What hand would go all in that he could beat?

I don't really like pushing there.

Yea, I would be worried about KK or TT here. He could be betting to protect his set from the flush. He obviously doesn't have the flush or the draw. I would have called the raise and tiptoed through the rest of the hand after his raise on the flop.

I think you can me most scared of the set here, which would be unfortunate if you do run into, as you probably wouldn't be able to avoid losing a buyin.

I don't think anyone with half a brain cell would be raising a flopped flush huge, you were a 70/30 ish when all your chips went in, so i think you played it fine.

You say you read him for a semibluff. Then a big reraise is the correct play according to my knowledge. Going with your read is usually a good idea. Good read and well played

Without that read though, I would have folded to the raise on the flop as long as you do not hold the A to improve your odds.
