Am I missing a lot of value by not leading rivers like these, or is this just a good way of getting to a cheaper, safer showdown? Villian in this case is fairly laggy. Here I had a fairly strong hand, but decided I'd check/call in case he had the boat or caught a straight.

I think this is fine. What hand calls a river bet you that you beat, that doesn't bet the river if you check? Maybe AA or KK, but I think they're probably 3-betting the flop. I don't think you're getting any more money out of this opp on the river.

I guess queens and jacks or queens and tens might call, but queens and jacks probably bet if checked to. And I'm not sure getting value from those hands is worth the chips you lose when he raises with AK, JJ, or even TT or 33. How would you play it?

Nice read. His failure to 3-bet his own raise clearly gives away his hand.

Huh? On the flop, villain bet, hero raised, so villain had a chance to 3-bet. Am I missing something? It doesn't eliminate AA & KK from his range, but I think those hands re-raise this flop a lot.

I should read a little slower.
He potted it and hero came over the top of him. Many players slow down here with a pair.

you've got him, he's gonna call another 2/3rds pot on the river. Im almost certain this is the most profitable line against pstars players. Hit top pair, bet 2/3rds on each street. The sometimes fold sometimes call the river. simply fold to a raise anywhere.

Smithers, use the amnesia ray.
You mean the revolver, sir?
Precisely.
