i put him (JT, QT, KT) on giving me 9 flush outs, 6 straight outs, and 3 ace outs for 18 outs giving me 39% chance of winning. Should i have just gone allin on the turn and hope for a fold if im going to call the allin anyway?

Check and hope he bets an amount you can call. This is a clear fold on the turn.

It's very unlikely he only had only a pair, meaning you were probably drawing dead to a flush or straight.

Don't play drawing hands in early position.

Don't play A6 suited - flush draws are usually not worth it. There are a couple of good posts in the strategy forum talking about Ax and Kx suited.

Don't call with bad pot odds (flop overbet).

Don't assume your opp hasn't got an A. If you put him on the T, why couldn't he have AT? Those aces are dirty outs.
