What hand calls your turn check raise that you beat? If they are bluffing, give them some more rope, if their ahead, try to limit the size of the pot.

UTG+1 raise, flop c/r gets called -> end of hand, unless he's a donkey (Loulu isn't btw). Check turn to catch your (very profitable) 2-outer.

When he calls your c/r. 99/TT/AK is unlikely then. Check turn, value bet river.

you aren't used to stakes these high are you? I only ask because it seems like I remember you've been posting hands from lower stakes. You should probably move down and beat up on 50 or 100nl before you take on these stakes.

I don't think Hero check-raised. Am I reading it wrong? But ya strip I like keeping these kinds of pots small so I think check the turn is good.

when u learn when you should check the turn, you'll make so much more money and lose heaps less. I spent about $500 learning it.

Oh man. I dump it as soon as he raises me so big on the turn. You gotta think, he raised you pf, so unless he's a total donk, he's not being doing this with A-K or any other Ace high hand. Neither is he raising pf and doing this with TT or lower.

Simple question, but what would have happened if you reraised him preflop? If he reraised you back, you'd know he had KK/AA. If he just called, he'd legitimately think you had AA (or possibly QQ) and help you get him to fold with consistent big bets, or (if you prefer) keep the pot more manageable. Also the more cards you reraise with the harder it would be for an aware opponent to precisly determine what you have.

Of course, that may just be a simple ABC approach ...

I play lower limits so my answer may differ but at this moment today i am about 50/50 calling/raising. I think raising would be good 'cause you'd then represent somethin higher, but is JJ to low for this, i know some reads would help so what if you had no reads?; or had reads that they might put you on a QQKKAA P.P.?
