Just finished up about 500 hands at Paradise Poker to clear the new signup bonus, and came across something i hadnt previously seen.

First off, Paradise was the wierdest blend of Donkeys, Pure Gamblers, and fairly skilled players that I have played with - no consistency at all. So, you can imagine my Joy when I sat down for a prolonged session at a $50NL and checked the notes on the player to my left, and found that I had left notes and clearly noted them to be a donkey. After a few hands, I remembered why and started to exploit this. However, something changed. At some point they turned into Phil Ivey. This dude bluffed me out of numerous pots, cracked my big hands by (in retrospect) good play. The one thing that completely screwed me was that this dude bet the same with pocket Aces as with middle pair. Maybe I was just tilting a little and got too tight, but somehow the donkey played me. I adjusted the notes, and moved on.

And to my surprise, I sat with the same person the next night, reread the notes, adjusted my play only to find them back to Donkey-dom.

WTF do you do in situations like that when your notes betray you?

Could be a different person playing under the same account.

You could always find other, more predictable donkeys.
What's the difference between a large cheese pizza and a poker player?

A large cheese pizza can feed a family of four.

Its likely two different people. Adjust your notes to figure out which one you are playing at the time.
Stakes: Playing $0.10/$0.25 NL
