This is not being results oriented. This is not slowplaying scary, coordinated boards against 5 players (3 with position).

So not slowplaying vs poor players. They won't understand that you're not raising a draw often so you don't need a merged range. BB is sure to felt an overpair on this flop, but not a lot of turns. We're obv scared of a handful of turns. Flush draws behind will still often call a raise.

$30 on the flop works since all the money is going in on the turn anyway.

On the flop we have 7 outs to a boat (or better).
On the turn we have 10 outs to a boat.

I like a flop minraise.
Stakes: Playing $0.10/$0.25 NL

I was tempted to....but wouldn't that be giving pot odds to anyone chasing?

yes.

What we want to do is to induce as many mistakes as possible. Min-raising gives justification for any drawing hands to call. So lets bump it up to a pot sized bet so that drawing hands are making mistakes and we are getting paid against big pairs.

We are betting 24 into a 48 pot so it is still a ½ pot bet but with 5 potential callers.
Poker stove it. We have around 55% equity in this pot.

Are we that worried about giving bad odds to chase?
F-it, let them all call because we have the pot equity on our side.

flop minraise only of you have a history of minraising flop with air

else, you are playing your hand face up

basically, slowplaying is for pussies. only slowplay if you are 99% sure opponent will bet out with a weaker hand than he'll call raises with (?)
