This is the same guy who called me preflop with J9s. My thoughts were that if he hit the flop at all, he'd be raising me all in, but if he missed, he'd be folding no matter how big my bet. He would chase his flush if he had the draw as well. Did I bet too much here? Did I get too excited in hoping that I would get paid off??

Better than a diamond coming out and you complaining about not playing fast enough.

Better than his K8 turning a King and leaving you to curse about donks.

played perfectly.

Always settle for winning a small pot in spots like this.

Smithers, use the amnesia ray.
You mean the revolver, sir?

Diamond improves your hand, so it's not as bad, but protection bet is still here necessary. PSB looks good. Nice play, you took more than your fair share with AA anyway. Quarter of buyin won, you shouldnt complain.

Its kinda like how stores always charge 19.99 or 29.99 for products.

guys, i don't think we're overly concerned about diamonds given that there were 4 raises preflop and we have the ace of diamonds. Just thought I'd point that out.

Not sure if I like calling preflop or making it like $18ish and pushing any flop. Pushing yourself is another option, depending on reads.

I had KK recently 4 handed in 50nl against a similar fishy villain who must've put me on a steal/bluff cuz he reraised like this then called my push with KQo.

So I think I'd push over him pf, but it won't always work out like that so raising it up more and cbetting is just as good. Some ppl just get especially fishy when you raise pre flop a lot.
