I like sets too, unfortunately I haven't been able to hit them lately. Well played. I like the aggressiveness. Way to not slow play, that board could have turned bad for you with a J, T, A or a spade.

Thanks. Generally I only like to slow-play if I flop something absurd like quads or a straight flush.
In this hand, I thought that his minimum raise of the other players $1 bet was pretty indicative of strength (or at least a conviction that he was very strong), and I felt I could get him all-in on the flop if I raised. I thought the likeliest hands were K-Q, K-K and Q-Q (K-Q being more likely than the other two), but was of course still moving in regardless of the fact that he may've flopped a higher set.
