Once again, I get excited hitting my trips. What might I have done?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.02 BB (8 handed) converter

MP1 ($1.32)
MP2 ($2.83)
CO ($1.57)
Button ($4.88)
SB ($2.69)
Hero ($1.49)
UTG ($2.22)
UTG+1 ($2.78)

Preflop: Hero is BB with J, J.
3 folds, MP2 calls $0.02, 2 folds, SB completes, Hero raises to $0.08, MP2 calls $0.06, SB calls $0.06.

Flop: ($0.24) Q, J, T (3 players)
SB bets $0.02, Hero raises to $1.41, MP2 calls $1.41, SB raises to $2.61, MP2 calls $1.20.

Turn: ($6.87) A (3 players)

River: ($6.87) 9 (3 players)

Final Pot: $6.87
Main Pot: $6.87, between MP2, SB and Hero. > Split: MP2 ($3.43), SB ($3.43).

Results in white below:
SB has Kh Ad (straight, ace high).
Hero has Jc Jd (three of a kind, jacks).
MP2 has Kc 8s (straight, ace high).
Outcome: MP2 wins $3.43. SB wins $3.43.

As soon as the SB raises your raise after the flop you know he has the straight. Your only hope is to pair the board for a boat. Other than that you know you're beat when you call.

The straight or the flush. And he didn't call that re-raise on the flop, he was already all-in. Frankly I think pushing there was way over-aggressive considering the board. The axiom goes - you will only get called (or raised) by hands that already have you beat. Then you're just hoping the board pairs to save you. I think you should bet hard there but not that hard. Once you got flat called and then raised, you know you're beat - but you don't have the chance to save yourself any money, because it's already in the pot.
