With the A on the flop I figured I was beat so I checked. Once they all checked I thought I would bet the turn hoping they had PP or K rags. Would you have checked the turn? When he raised allin I knew he had an A but I called anyway. Should I have folded? I figured 3.75:1 pot odds.

Hand 1:
Are you looking at the board before you bet? TP on the flop just paired on the turn. That should concern you a little. Slowing down or checking is called for.

Hand 2:
I could find a fold on the turn but its only 3 more to see. Ace high board and coordinated straight possibilities you got to think your single pair is no good. This should really be a lay down.

Betting more on the flop in #1 won't make the guy lay down top pair+good kicker plus a flush draw.

#2 I bet the flop and if I get called I play it super cautious, folding to any decent size bet.

Some days it feels like I've been standing forever, waiting for the bank teller to return so I can cash in all these Sklansky Bucks.
