Why don't you just push next time if you are going to fold the flop to aggression anyways...

Even if you lose to AA sometimes (I think it happened three times or so to me), this is profitable in the long run i think.

Poeple reraise with JJ+ and AK all the time, I would do this too (only in a situation where poeple know how to fold like in a higher stakes tourney or at least 50nl).
In order to live you have to be ready to die!

I just had a similar hand where I pushed my KK and lost to AA after he had reraised me 1-5-15$. With the read I now have on the opponent (ROCK) I would have folded in the given situation, but I never thought about calling. Isn't this a typical reraise or fold situation?

I think your hand shows that a call here is the wong play, but in the hand I played someone commented on "bad play by the KK who should have called to see the flop". Anyone who could say something a bit detailed about this?

Ii realize that i played it wrong. In this case i should either call preflop and call his bet on the flop or fold preflop if im tended to fold to a big bet or an ace on the flop.

i dont see how you can call this...you beat exactly zero hands that play this way. i think you got off easy because of his stupid ass limp reraise AA line.

i think you played this fine...leading out is definitely better than checking...and calling preflop is definitely better than reraising because his line screams AA, so you lead the flop just to make sure and then make the lay down losing minimal chips.

I'd push AdKd here.

I don't think you can give him credit for just AA here. And with $56 already in the pot, you're getting 3:1 on your call. It's all about a read here, too bad he doesn't have one.

as would i, but i wouldnt limp reraise with AKs. neither would anyone else in the world. and him having exactly AdKd is much less likely than him having AA mathematically.

To be honest.... limp/re-raise preflop, then a push on the flop... the only hand you beat here is QQ... I don't think this is a bad laydown.
