I don't know... it seems reasonably well played to me. You got sucked out on. Sucks to be you. I'd probably have to check/fold the river.

That's the beauty of the hand. It wasn't even checked to him.
If the guy checked, you could make a strong case for checking behind. But if you bet and got check-raised it would be a different story.
But here, the guy just lead out AI for no insubstantial ammount on a scary board.
It's not an easy fold but it is a fold. Unless you can give him a lot of credit for being tricky (which I doubt), you gotta lay it down.

I definitely would like to see more aggression on the turn. Why not push there? Would have been a much better play than calling an all-in with the straight glaring at you on the river.

aha, my lesson learned yesterday can apply to this. check/fold the river. by that point, he probably has you outdrawn, the board is hugely scary, and even though you already have a lot of money in there, 36 bucks is worth saving.
also, had trouble reading it, but he checked to you on the turn to, then lead out the river with a push? easy fold, easier than i thought.

He can't check fold the river.
If he was first to act on the river, check/folding would be a HORRIBLE line.
Since he has position and a big AI, he can make the hard fold. But if he was out of position, check/folding would be uber-weak.

Just looked through this hand again and with some perspective, I dont know how I could call that all in on the river.
In the heat of the moment it seemed like a good idea.
I think I found a leak.
