He probably thought ýou were bluffing. Had you been acting aggressively lately? This kind of call is the reward for having an aggressive image, just that in this case he hit one of his outs to beat you. Nice play.

I think it's pretty obvious he was trying to buy the pot on the turn.. he just completely lucked out on the river.

Hmm... triptanes only has $7 left to put in the pot so how often would he fold to an all-in bet? Those $7 are going into the pot anyway so the opp basically has to either raise or fold and he ain´t gonna fold as he has seen triptanes play aggressively earlier and has decided to bust him at any cost. Sure, his reraise makes it a bit more likely for triptanes to fold, (i.e. in case he was holding 74o) but I think he´s throwing out that bet praying to the gods that his out will fall (but counting on losing the hand).
