no, you shouldn't have, you dun right son. with that flop you have to put both other people on high cards, figure maybe you're up against a straight flush draw at worst, and push it in.

it's frustrating to lose to a higher set, but way more then 50% of the time it will just be overs, or someone with QQ, KK, AA who won't let it go and you will take them down.

set over a set is very similar to flush over a flush, it's rare enough not to really worry about, just part of the game.

Exactly, no funny value betting your sets, push them in and make them pay. Most of the time they will pay off, but you got unlucky with the guy hitting the bigger set ... good play, it will pay off next time when you have some kids sitting with aa and aj.

Now, if you had seen 3 people going AI like all hell BEFORE your action, you could conceivably read a better set into it. But this is just fine.
