Hey, I'm not a very epxerienced player. I am familiar with the concepts of pot odds etc but most hands don't require fast on the fly decisions like this one did. I had several tables open so I had to think fast. Ultimately I'm not sure whether the play was correct or not I'd like your feedback.
This was a loose table...

1). even at a 10NL table, i am not calling an 8x BB raise with A-9s with only 100xBB stacks.
2). shove flop

You proberly couldnt do anything more wrong than you did in this hand.
You will only hit a flush 1 out of 120 times on the flop with your hand. You will hit 2 pair about 1:22 so youre in trouble right away.
A flush draw only got implied odds against the worst players, if you good want implied odds then call with hands like 79s and see if you can hit a great flop because your hand is much more disguised that way.
When people see 3 hearts then shut down and dont pay much more but with a J-10-8 flop someone is going to get stuck with his J at this level or someone slowplaying a big hand like KK AA QQ cant get away from it.

WTF...over
Edit: OH I GET IT! You mean you are only going to FLOP a flush one out of every 120 times.
Doesn't matter, fold PF. Find a way to get the money in on the flop.

Hey, thanks for the advice, I still got a lot to learn
Assuming the pre flop call was bad, which I agree it was. Was the flop call completeyl retarded? Baring in mind the flush and inside straight draw?
When it was reraised and called by one person was there enough money in the pot them to give me the odds? Even if I'd played incorrectly up until that point?
Just curious, trying to get the odds locked down in my mind.
Thanks again for the replies

Pushing with an overcard + inside straight + flush draw is the right play. In this instance if you get HU with the QQ...
