If you're beat and you know it,
Fold your hand

If you're beat and you know it,
Fold your hand

If you're beat and you know it,
Then there is really no need to show it
If you're beat and you know it,
Fold your hand

Bearing in mind there is only 1 combo of KK left when you hold KK, if villains range is KK+ you are rarely getting the correct odds to call.

edit: I just stoved it. Vs AA we have 18% equity. Vs KK+ we have 22.6%. It makes very little difference.
gabe: Ive dropped almost 100k in the past 35 days.

bigspenda73: But how much did you win?

In a CO vs BU vs blinds situation, I'm never folding KK here.

I've folded KK 6 times preflop online and not once was it in a BvB spot.

not even baby-deep (200bb), nor with reads as given?
I'm typically firmly in the never fold KK pre camp - that's why I found this hand interesting. I banked and folded, but was wondering as i hit the button and promised myself I'd post it - regardless of results.

BN just 3 and 5 bet when his history suggests that he tends to float around and generally call too much when he thinks the other guy is FoS.

BB seems to be a reasonable sort and he just flatted a 4-bet. I think it's widely enough known that he should be flatting AA here.

Both are to act behind us and we can't look over our shoulders to see if BB is going to muck AK/QQ.

..and on top of it we're playing over 200bb deep in a full ring game.

I think it's at worst close and we just spare ourselves the drama and muck. If you got blown off a pot, then good for the BN. Oh well.

agreed. i think at worst folding is a small mistake and shipping is potentially a massive mistake if his range is KK+ (as would seem to be the case a lot given reads)

button showed AA, bb showed KK.

thought this was an interesting spot given the typical comments re folding KK pre. A decent fold for once!

Saying a given range is like KK+ is a pretty darn laser percision read. What makes this a second nuts fold is the fact *two* players are creditably repping nut hands with a lot of money behind.
