The thing is:

The flop bet is of course delibaretely low because I want a raise. However nl.sjors frequently raises on the flop as a semibluff to get a free card. Just in case she's really hit a hand good, I pop it a little more, hoping for continued action. However she just calls confirming to me that she probably is on a draw.

Then ace hits. This is obviously not so good if opp has 45 but then again that's the only thing I'm worried about. Problem is there are a lot of scare cards I don't want to see on the river. So I push. If she's got TPTK here she's made 2p and will have a hard time to fold.

Of course she did fold which leads me to believe she really had something like 7K or the likes, definitely not two pair, and cursing myself for not just flat calling the flop raise and checking the turn. However in normal circumstances that would have just been to play right into her normal way of proceeding with the hand and I've given her a free card on a draw-heavy board.

What should I have done?

I like the flop play, especially with your read. I would usually value-bet the turn... pot's pretty good-sized so maybe $12 or so. But you definitely have to go large enough to protect. A push there is not horrible.

If your read is that villian likes to raise flop bets as a semibluff to buy a free card, then I think you HAVE to raise it up more on the flop. The way you played it, he had perfect odds to draw to whatever he was drawing to, not to mention implied odds. You mentioned that you raised so little because you wanted to get reraised. Do you really think a flush draw puts in a 3rd raise here?!?! I would pop it up to $15-17 or so. Why overbet the pot on the turn? I would price villain in more, maybe 2/3 pot here to give him bad odds. You really want villian to draw on you here for a 2/3 pot bet. Betting $22 will only scare off draws, and thereflore you lose potential value.

Also, dalecooper, you think that pushing the turn is a good play? You are effectively betting $84 into a $15 pot! IMO the only hand that gives you action is 77, 22, or 45. And if he has 77 or 22, the money is going in the middle anyway. I think 2pair finds an easy fold here unless you have been very laggy and overbetting a lot.
