If you think i played this terribly, let me know. If you think i played it well, let me know. I'm just looking for some feedback and advice.

Many thanks for your time,

Pre-flop is fine. If you have a read that villain is an ultra-nit, you might fold, or a lagg, you might re-raise. On the flop I raise more. Pot is $7.75 so you raised less than half-pot. I make it $9. If he calls this raise I slow down. Probably check behind turn, maybe bet half-pot. As played, I don't mind the turn bet, but you don't have to make it pot-sized, $8 should suffice here. As played, he called your big turn bet, so you should be suspicious, but without a read, I think the river is fine. You're only realistically beat by AA or TT here (KJ seems unlikely) and he could play AK or AT the same way.

Overall, not a terrible hand. Try to think in terms of pot size when raising and on the turn, controlling the size of the pot, so that you keep pots small when your hand is vulnerable (like this one) and make them bigger when you have a monster.

Welcome to FTR!!!

any read on villain? Include if so. It's great that you used the HH converter. You should get in the habbit of deleting stuff after your last, or after your significant move. For example:
Quote:
MP2 checks, Hero bets $20
for a line check

or
Quote:
MP2 checks, Hero ...
if you're unsure about the river

Pre-flop, if he's loose raiser 3bet here, to $4.50. As played it's fine.

I'm not sure about the flop raise. It is tempting since he bet so weak, but you don't know if your kicker is good. It probably is. If you're raising raise more.

Turn bet is too big. You're chasing out hands you beat. Plus you need to think about how to get your opponents stack (if that's your goal). Villain has $32 behind so $9 is more than enough to leave him with < PSB on river while still offering bad pot odds to a draw. As played it would be hard to find a fold if a spade came and he pushed the river.

As played river push is good. All the draws missed, you're now beating AK/AT. If he has a terrible played 55 or TT so be it.

{EDIT: And what zook said}
