 Was I destined to lose all my chips here?

I am actually really proud of myself here because I didn't really get angry at all and I didn't type any chat or anything. I am really just baffled that he called a 30bb raise preflop with 33. Was this a good play for him? I just don't think the implied odds justified this.

They didn't justify it, but I've seen far worse plays. This one doesn't suprise me in the least.

And if that guy intends to play no set, no bet, and make it easy on me, I'll let him call it all day.
