i know i shoulda checked the turn or raised more on the flop but i figured he was taking a stab at the pot with a weak ace, on the flop so i reraised a decent amount, but possibly amount he would call, then he checked the turn i thought either flush or just a little scared cause i reraised him on flop, the reraise on turn i shoulda knowk, and i think i did know but i couldnt laydown the dream flop
by the way he had 2 6 hearts he called 7$ raise with 2 6 of hearts, 7$ is a big raise at this table as well, ohh well getem next time i guess.

I guess his justification fot calling would be that he was in the BB, and it was only $5 more for him to call. I guess when he saw everyone else fold, he figured he'd take a stab at it. I know what you're saying, though. There's no reason to be playing 2 6. The fact that they're suited doesn't make them any better. After that flop, there was no way this dude was going anywhere, not with 4 to a flush eventhough he was what? a 2 to 1 underdog? That's a pretty big bad beat... I hope you made it back.

Tall stacks, implied odds rule, AK loses a ton of value and calling with suited rags in that spot isn't punished very harshly if played well post-flop.

Exactly what I was going to say, 90% of the time he will probably lose $5, but occasionally Dealer: RAZEit wins the pot ($584.30) with a flush, Ace high
That's 58:1 ((584.3/2)/5) on the $5 call, he had huge implied odds.

They sure as hell ain't the PP $25/$50 NL fish at that level. Structure is different too with 100+BB(?) stacks. I hope you didn't put too much of a dent in your bankroll.

Calling a decent pre-flop raise with 62s is horrid, regardless of stack sizes IMO. POST-flop, I can't really fault him too much. After his semi-bluff on the flop gets raised, he's just praying you've got AA/KK/AK and won't be able to let go of your monster if he makes his flush. The implied odds are there post-flop with that board, but him calling that pre-flop raise even from the BB seems silly to me. Maybe with suited connectors you could justify it with implied odds, but 62?!?
