thats exactly wht i did. Villan had quads but that is besides the point. i was just wondering if some people could make a legit argument for a check or smaller raise.

I would bet about 2/3 but I think checking is an option. I wouldn't be too paranoid about the hearts, and you might get value out of smaller pocket pairs by checking.

You have to push here, or bet out because of the possible holdings. AQ and QQ beat you, but at these stakes they could also have AK, KK, AJ, AT, JJ, TT. Checking here is a problem because they are going to attack you if you don't bet. Basically this is a cooler hand and you got unlucky.

I know exactly what I would do. I would make a little note. "3-bets QQ preflop"(since it's it's 2NL)
And move on.
