I would've just called on the river. It would take a pretty foolish player to call that raise on the river without a hand that beats either kings or aces up.

What did you think were his most likely hands, and what made you suspect he'd call your raise with them?

Edit: On second thought, maybe raising is a good play. It depends on how passive this guy is.

Well I would think JJ would bet out or raise on the flop. TT is a possiblity but I would expect some sort of raise pre-flop at the least. 44 I think is unlikely since there are two 4's on the board. 22 is a possibility. I think any T or two pair though would be a strong canidate too. I would think that a hand raised on the river would be pot-committed enough to make the call with a weaker hand than kings up.

Call the river. Passive bets are always trouble.
It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.
