Sounds like you know what you did wrong. I don't like the min raise on the flop in hand 1. Theres a flush draw out there and possible strait draw too. The guy semi bluff'd a gutshot and the min raise actually almost gave him decent odds to call. With implied odds (63o being a really well disguised hand ) i almost can't blame him for calling the min raise, even though it looked stupid at first. Bet your good hands.

Hand 2 the guy sucks out horrendously, but checking the turn is a big mistake. What hand are you afraid of here? If you're checking because you're scared of KT, JJ, or QQ, you're gonna give up a lot of pots by giving free cards when you only have the 3rd or 4th nuts if you're afraid they're beat. I make it 12$ to see the river.

The first hand was an obvious yes. Raise harder. You can never min reraise on a drawing board unless you're the one drawing.

The second hand is tough. You can't put him on KJ flopped straight because he raised in early position. You gotta bet hard on the turn. Pay off an overset.
It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.

Hand #1 I would slow it down when the board coordinates like that. Your turn bet is too large. You could have gotten the same information with a $4 bet. Good check behind on the river.

Hand #2 Ugly board there.. good flop bet. You gave him a free card and he took it without betting so given all the action so far I can put him on AK. The crying call on the end is not a terrible play but I'm folding to an $8 bet there.

In many cases yes... Both hands they were drawing to gutshots that you handed to your opponents. I'm sure that they're reasonable enough to not call a crazy overbet on a gutshot.

Hand 1: the minraise gave your drawing opp ~8.5:1 pot odds... It was too inviting to get him to call. Your turn bet was a gross overbet on a card that completed a draw. You might be better off raising that amount on the flop... or betting $4 as a previous poster said

Hand 2: A 6 hits on the turn, it does not complete any reasonable draw (barring 66 or Q6 or J6). You have to bet the turn strong and make him pay to see his AK hit the board. Checking a blank is inviting danger... case in point.

The first hand is a no-brainer.

The second hand is a loose call pre-flop unless you are sure the
opp. is a maniac. You picked up a great draw there and bet it
right out. That's the right play. 20% of the time you take the
pot right there.. and another 50% you pick up a huge pot with
the draw.

First hand i would have raised pre flop, but the post flop play looks ok. The big all in looks like 2 pair/set that doesnt want the flush to draw. Could also be a weaker king. I call the all in. Nh, you had less outs than you thought but it paid off.

Second hand, good raise near UTG, then you get a caller and a big re raise...I don't think AQ is the best hand here, but given that the MP caller probably won't be re-raising, i think its ok to take a flop for 2.50 more into a 11$~ pot. The 8$ bet is a little bigger than you need i think, it's betting just a little on the upside of your odds to hit one of yoru draws. 6$ i think will give you the same folding equity + it's betting well within your odds(13 outs, 9 spades and 4 jacks).
