I'm assuming this ends up being a STBY hand. You played it well, what else can you do?

"Sucks to be you."
But I didn't see that the flop was suited. Gotta be careful there, some people will play any 2 suited.

Similar thing happened to me the other night, only I'd say it was worse.
JJ. I raise 4xbb preflop, big blind calls. Flop comes 3 of one suit, with a J highest. So I have top trips. He bets it small (1/5 pot or something), I raise it 2x the pot, he re-raises me all in (something like 10x the pot). Now, I thought for a long time that his small bet could have been a trap for a flopped flush, but I remember from earlier hands he is really loose and my sense was that he bluffs too much. So I call his all in. He had Ax, with no pair or anything, just 4 to a nut flush. He caught his flush on the river.
So it goes.

It does indeed STBY. Just remember, every time somebody makes a bad play, you're profiting in the long run. That's all anyone can possibly say about a hand like this. Or any bad beat. The worse and more unbelievable the play, the more you are actually profiting from it. Just not this time.

Would all of you call the all in though, or would you think he must have the flush to make that kind of call, and fold ?

Easiest call ever. (Atleast when there is a hand that might beat you on the board)
You have a decent draw to fill up and you're way ahead of non-flush hands.

To me its an easy call...board pairs and his flush is garbage. With those outs I don't see anything wrong with it.
But what the hell do I know your luck seems as good as mine has been
