I guess neither of you were scared of the higher flush. I know people say flush over flush isn't common but how common is it when there is an obvious flush on the board and two people are willing to put all their chiops in the middle.

I'm not sure how to play it differntly however.

Yikes. Call me weak-tight, but after the 2 cold calls I would really begin to slow down and look for a cheap showdown. I think pushing the turn is a really bad move because the way it looks you are only getting called by a hand that beats you, given the action on the flop. If the pot were heads up I like the push. Then again, reads change the whole picture...

I think with everyone limping and 2 opponents willing to call $8 on the flop, you are likely to see another flush. There is a good chance the other flush is higher than a 9.
Pushing the Turn was a poor play. E-Rocks flop smooth call was the tits though.
Playing live . . . thanks alot Bin Laden.

I realize now that I should have left out the results..

Anyway, check-folding the turn seemed so weak to me since I could very well be up against set/nut flush draw.

Chat afterwards (I don't use the chat usually, this is an exception):

> E-ROCKS-U wins $272.30 with a Flush, Clubs
johnny291281> hmm
E-ROCKS-U> there was the 9 I was looking for
E-ROCKS-U> allin with 9 high huh?
johnny291281> flush..
E-ROCKS-U> crap flush
johnny291281> yes, it was a crap flush
johnny291281> ty for your great advice
E-ROCKS-U> anytime, that coaching was free
E-ROCKS-U> well not really
johnny291281> wp
E-ROCKS-U> ty
E-ROCKS-U> I almost didn't call
johnny291281> hard to get away from a flopped flush
E-ROCKS-U> yea, it's hard to laydown 9 high flush
johnny291281> better pushing 9 high than calling J high maybe
E-ROCKS-U> yea, you got a pt
E-ROCKS-U> just glad Iknow how you play

I actually think you might want to fold after the min raise, and then a call. These guys really seem to not be scared of the flush, but thats way easier to see looking back at the hand.
Check out the new blog!!!

There's no way I'm folding here, do you guys fold because you're scared of a higher set? I'll pay off the higher flush here.
