Also, I absolutely hate you line on this hand.

Especially you minraise preflop becuase you're letitng EVERYONE a free chance to outflop you. And outflop you cheap.

THEN you let EVERYONE get a cheap card by check calling a .5 bet.

Turn is standard. Well, standard for this situation.

How I play the hand, I raise to 1.2~2 preflop.

Lead any flop, even JQT for 1.5x~2x your preflop bet. Then re-evaluate yourself depending on their action.

what was your reason for calling the flop bet?

Becuase you had queens or becuase you felt queens were good or becuase you felt you could take the pot from him on the turn or river?

good question....

I figured at the level I'm playing at, the possibility is high enough that he has a hand like KJ or JT that it was borderline whether to call or not, so I guess the gutshot draw was just enough for me to make the call. I also thought if he had top two pair he would try to check the flop and slow-play maybe. If he had bet on the turn or raised me on the river I would've folded. I bet on the river because I thought he would've bet on the turn if he had AQ.

i realize just about everything in my thinking is probably flawed, which is why i posted it lol
