Given that I am ahead of most 1 pair hands with 2 cards to come, but behind anything 2 pair or above hand, how hard should I be pushing pair + flush draw hands?
I think I should probably fold to a reraise if I don't know the opponent overvalues TP, an overpair, or nut flush draw.
But I currently push them very hard:
$25 PL Texas Hold'em
Seat 4 is the button
Total number of players : 10
Seat 1: Seat1( $24.15 )
Seat 3: Seat3 ( $46 )
Seat 4: Seat4 ( $38.51 )
Seat 6: HandsomeHero ( $49.80 )
Seat 7: Seat7 ( $11.50 )
Seat 8: Seat8 ( $33.95 )
Seat 9: Seat9 ( $55.70 )
Seat 10: Seat10 ( $33.75 )
Seat 5: VileVillain ( $24.50 )
Seat 2: Seat2 ( $25 )
VileVillain posts small blind [$0.10].
HandsomeHero posts big blind [$0.25].
Seat2 posts big blind [$0.25].
** Dealing down cards **
Dealt to HandsomeHero [ 7d 5d ]
Seat1 calls [$0.25].
Seat2 checks.
VileVillain calls [$0.15].
HandsomeHero checks.
** Dealing Flop ** [ 7h, 6d, 2d ]
VileVillain bets [$0.95].
HandsomeHero raises [$3.80].
Seat1 folds.
Seat2 folds.
VileVillain raises [$11.40]. <- Fold here?
Results below in white:
HandsomeHero raises [$34.20].
VileVillain is all-In [$11.90]
** Dealing Turn ** [ 6c ]
** Dealing River ** [ 8d ]
HandsomeHero shows [ 7d, 5d ] a flush, eight high.
VileVillain shows [ 6h, 7c ] a full house, Sixes full of sevens.
HandsomeHero wins $13.75 from side pot #1 with a flush, eight high.
VileVillain wins $47.05 from the main pot with a full house, Sixes full of sevens.

when they get agressive back over my agression i stop to think what they have, on this board two pair is quite possible, and that voids a bunch of your outs.. so would you get that agressive with just a flush draw? and he's commited himself by that raise so you dont have shit for fold equity.
I wouldve folded where you say, at his flop reraise

And is there a better way to play a hand like this, other than raise, raise, fold? Is calling ever better?

i dont think so.. you need the info on where your pair stands.. if you just call, then your chasing a flush and it looks like you are, so your implied odds are bad.. Its just sometimes you'll run into flopped 2pair or set or straight and then you have to lay down.

the pair becomes meaningless if you are against trips or top 2 pair, a hand like this plays very well in a raised pot where it is more likley the flop didnt hit the original raiser. your only about 51% to win against an overpair, against 2 pair or trips your just playing for about 35%
