I felt like a total asshat....I played this hand TERRIBLE. I dont believe I reraised enough on the flop. And then I fell in love with my hand and couldnt slow down after the turn knowing that it could easily be a split pot.

Do you Push on the flop?...or do about the same and slow down on the turn?..........

Not much you can do with these guys that believe chasing a flush is their key to the fortune city. Just keep playing like this and it will pay off in the long run. You could say you shoulda pushed but I'll bet anything he was calling it anyway.

I see nothing wrong with your play. I like your big flop reraise and your push on the turn. Your opponent just happened to get incredibly lucky to catch the one card he needed for a straight. This allowed him to freeroll the flush draw on you. It sucks, but I would have played it exactly the same. You can't expect him to call a huge reraise with an inside straight draw.

So I gave him bad odds to call still then?.......He had a gutshot and flush draw, should I have pushed it harder to make it worse odds or were they bad enough?

And also what do you do on the turn when your hand is GREATLY reduced....I felt all my chips were going in on this hand so I might as well push em in....but I was in the worst possible shape with him freerolling on me. So what do you do on the turn if you didnt push the flop?

You got lucky on the flop that someone raised so you could come over top of them... on a flop with 6 players and two to a flush, I like to push people out. Make it AT LEAST a pot-sized bet to open the betting, I'd go as far as 1.5 x pot. With such a small bet, it only takes two loose calls before everyone's in with their draws.

After that, your play is good. Pushing the flop would also be acceptable.

That makes sense....But it was 4 handed not 6...so my $0.35 into a $0.40 pot was close to pot size. I geuss I just hoping someone would raise.....but excellent point.
