Firstly I wasn't sure how to react to being raised on the flop. I wasn't willing to give the hand up but I wasn't sure what odds to offer UTG+1 and ended up just calling. On the turn it's an unopened sidepot, what size bet would you recommend if any?

I make it at least $4 on the flop, that should offer villain about 2-1 pot odds. I might even just push right there and hope he calls it off anyway.
As played, on the turn we have $8 left and the pot is $6 so I push cos I dont like leaving piddly little amounts behind on the river when opp is probably drawing. I guess $4 on the turn and the rest on the river is fine too.

I agree with Jimmy, after the shorty pushes, I like to push to chase out UTG.
As played, with no side pot, I'm actually tempted to check this down, see how UTG plays his draw (or monster). Sometimes I bet $3-4 here also, depends on what I think of UTG...

The key to this hand is the likely wide range shorty pushes for $1.90 here. You certainly shouldn't be respecting it. You should consider it dead money. Like a bonus added for you and UTG to fight over. When there are 30xBB worth of dead money in a pot when you have this strong of a hand, hammer it.

It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.

Thanks guys. I actually pushed the turn since the pot was large, I felt I was probably still ahead and if he was drawing to the nut flush he just paired his ace and might call. Maybe 2/3 pot might have been better with the rest going in on the river. He might have 16-20 outs though. Anyway he folded and CO had a set of 4's so it's a shame I didn't get a sidepot going to recoup that loss. Better hand than I expected from CO though.
