Smooth call, c/r all in a safe turn. If its a bad turn, like the , then you can lead for 1/2 pot and try to get it all in.

I dont know..gives a free draw to JJ/QQ. But maybe thats just being cautious. C/ring all in that turn isnt bad either.

I like calling and c/r turn... or calling and leading the turn.

villain 3-bet PF. yes his pfr % is 13 but how wide is his 3-bet range? it's usually pretty tight for most. on this flop he is probably not raising any kind of draw so that makes me think he has a real hand here (overpair). i put it in another raise on the flop here most times.
EDIT: Also, bet more on the flop. How much do you bet when you donkbet the flop with air? Chances are he has an overpair so if you bet more it makes it easier to get AI after his raise.

i like a min raise 3 bet (13$) on flop.. he cant fold to it, and might even push. he really likes his hand.
then just push on the turn, you will have less then half pot behind.
no need to get tricky, just keep betting. great job leading the flop, btw..

I usually check raise the flop here. Is that bad when villain 3-bet preflop?

Check raising the flop is terrible, IMO. In this case, villain may have a good enough hand (AA/KK/QQ) that he's felting no matter what we do, but in general check-raising the flop accomplishes one of two bad things:
1) it bloats the pot when we have a marginal hand OOP
2) it puts opponent on alert when we have a monster
Call, then c/r turn is the superior line here.

I would also say to call the flop and lead the turn. I usually never slowplay any hands unless I'm sure that my opponent will bet into me when checked to. 3-betting the flop would most like chase away hands you want to keep in the hand i.e. TP, JJ, QQ, AK or AA because they will not fold unless you show too much strength.
I like that you led the flop with a weak bet which disguised your strength.

Ok, so it's not just me. That was my plan-- I minraised and he FOLDED!!!!! And it wasn't like this guy was some rock-- he has the freakin' Tazmanian devil icon next to him. I couldn't imagine him folding Aces or Kings for only $5 more there, but I was wrong. I guess the other option is to smoothcall and C/R the turn but I think that works better if the board is 2 toned. I thought about smoothcalling and leading the turn, but I've had many unfortunate turn folds in that instance also.
Is it my image? Am I giving off some online tell? I waited a few beats before minraising-- not too long, not insta-raise. I'm having an awful time lately and I can't tell if I'm playing like shit, if I'm getting too easy to read from my betting, or if it's just bad luck. I'm going to take a few days off playing because I'm getting paranoid and overthinking things.

so..
i doubt he had AA/KK, or an overpair.. the minraise is to juicy..
you caught him on a bluff i guess.. probably something like 99 or KQ at best.
