Wow, if that guy has a flush he got absolutely no value out of it.

This is always a tricky situation. The min raise on the river tells you he has a flush though... What else would he raise with? Maybe a full house.... though that's also beating you.
Check out the new blog!!!

I disagree. The As or Ks justifies these calls. A busted-draw raise on the river is usually bigger than that, but not always at 25NL.

There are a sufficient number of inferior hands that make this worth $3 to me. I call

It was awefully nice of him not to put you to a difficult decision anywhere in this hand. Return the favor and pay him off.

Shouldnt this river be a standard check calling situation?

I think that represents too much weakness. If Villain hadnt sucked out he probably would have checked behind and I would have made less or it would leave room for him to make a big bet to scare me off. If I bet and he comes over the top when Ive been betting the whole time then I doubt its a bluff.

Too many stupid hands pay off at this level. Too many hands that have ours smoked do something stupid like flat call or min-raise.

Save the check/calls for crazy mofos like me who will raise obvious blocking bets and bluff rivers with usually something in line with the pot.
