How many of you continue to bet to try and get value out of a weaker hand (say, a donked up 1010-AA), and how many of you like checkraising the river for sexiness on a drawy board. I hate having this decision with no reads.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $2 BB (8 handed) Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

BB ($192.10)
Hero ($200)
UTG+1 ($421.50)
MP1 ($231.50)
MP2 ($62)
CO ($66)
Button ($348.80)
SB ($193)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with Q, Q. CO posts a blind of $2.
Hero raises to $10, UTG+1 calls $10, 6 folds.

Flop: ($25) 6, Q, 9 (2 players)
Hero bets $18, UTG+1 calls $18.

Turn: ($61) 4 (2 players)
Hero bets $44, UTG+1 calls $44.

River: ($149) 4 (2 players)
Hero has $128 left

i dont think that board is all that "drawy." i dont want to induce a bluff here if i dont know my villain. i take the value when i can.

i lead for $100 and hope he thinks i am firing a 3 barrel with AK. btw, i love the 2/3 on flop and turn.

Nothing beats flopping quads while dropping a duece!

I keep betting. I need a read that makes me confident he'll bet to c/r the river.

he's got to have something worth calling with. called a raise from UTG as UTG+1 and called decent sized flop and turn bets. either he has a big enough hand to do this, or he is a donkey and thinks he has a big enough hand to do this.

he will probably check behind with the majority of his range though. the only draw that would seem to be likely to bet this river is TJ (and possibly 78, but if he has that, then the flop and turn calls were absolutely horrible since a T is not really a great card for him), because an AhKh may think it is good enough to check behind. most PP's will check behind thinking they are good. an unlikely 2 pr has now been counterfeited, so it should check behind.

dont check but what hands do you beleive opp has? the more draw type hands then the less you should bet since there little value in betting more. betting $60 may get a missed draw with a pair to call, if he has a set or trips he could shove anyway.

Checking is baaaad. Especially vs an unknown who is likely stationy. River bet/bluffs are very rare here. AA KK is scared and checks behind more often than you think. Shoving is the only option.

Actually, the board pairing means it's not as bad since these guys like bluffing at pairs, but really, bet/bet/crai is so not a good value line at ssnlfr without reads.
