Alright. Button is a LAgg on a cold run of cards, starting to tilt. SB is an uberfish who is on fire basically flopping 2 pair every hand. He's real loose/passive until the river.
Stacks are Me and Button at about $50 and SB has about $120. Blinds are .5/1.
I'm dealt in the CO. It's 7 handed and folded to me. I raise to 3 bucks, Button calls and SB call, BB folds.
Flop is:
SB checks, I bet 5 into a 10 dollar pot. CO calls and SB calls. Nothing to scary, I assume SB is fishing with god knows what and the button is just calling with a weak ace or a pocket pair JJ-99 and looking for future weakness to take the pot away from me by representing the 8.
Turn is a :Tc:
SB checks, I bet 10 into a 25 pot and button quickly raises it to 20 and SB flat calls the 20. Its 10 bucks to take a 75 dollar pot so I call. At this point I'm afraid the Button has made 2 pair with AT becuase he loves to re-raise preflop with AQs or AKs and it made no sense for him to be re-raising with an 8 since he knows it's a guarenteed bet from me on the river if no one else shows any aggression. The fish I'm hoping is drawing dead or maybe has the 8 and gives me huge implied odds for my flush.
River is a
SB leads out allin. SOB! The Loose passive flys out allin? I saw him do this earlier when he drew with bottom pair and backdoors a full house and he aslo checked behind me in a hand where he had bottom set with a pocket pair deuces and I have a busted flush draw quoting "I was afraid he hit his straight." Which would have been a gutshot..
Hero weeps.... and then?

shit man, my brain hurts. Leave me alone.
Is there a chance either of them is just playing like this with two pair or trip 8's (without the boat)? I say no. Lay it down.

Why do I have a feeling that the 2nd all-in doesn't have the boat but 4 8's.
Doesn't matter really but I think you gotta lay it down.

Well, here's my thinking. He's dumb and I hate him.
I folded. He's shown that he is always afraid of the flush or straight when one is present so he would have to have been on a flush draw to be so confident on the river (and for me to still beat him) but he can't call that flop bet with a flush draw. So he's gotta be swinging the boat.
SB had
Becuase he's a bastard. As much as he'll never understand, it was well played. Had he lead out and bet the hand, we would have "known" he was protecting his trip 8s. So by just calling like fish love to do, he fell into my blind spot until the river when I actually made a great payoff hand.
Button, i was suprised to see, had :Ah: :Kh:
The cold cards must have done him in. That or he, like me, basically ignored the fish and played the hand heads up.
Fatal move.
